  • Eldest son of Richard Maris Clark and Cora Juliett Clark, of Onslow Rd, Epsom, Auckland.
  • Served in the Anglo-Boer War.
  • Clark was a keen rugby player and rower in Dunedin and Auckland.
  • He was killed in action in a night attack during the August Offensive on 6 August 1915 or possibly in the early hours of 7 August.
