Biographical Notes:
  • Bruce Mark was the son of Donald Bruce and Mary Jessie Mark, of Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.
  • While attending a wounded man Sgt Mark was himself wounded in the back when enemy aircraft strafed the house and he later died of wounds.

  • Wreath, 1999, laid by the Greek Community on the Cenotaph in the Domain, Auckland and later moved to the Hall of Memories, Auckland War Memorial Museum on Anzac Day 1999 in memory of those who died in Greece.
