We acknowledge the passing of Lt Col Retired D.M. (Daphne) Shaw. Service No: 215491. Shaw joined the Royal New Zealand Nursing Corps as a Sister in 1969 serving in hospitals in all three Services within New Zealand, and in the NZ Force Hospital in Singapore and, notably, in 1971 for a year with No 1 Field Hospital, Vung Tau, South Vietnam. In the late 1990s Shaw contributed to the Service Woman Research Project that created many 1,000s of records for Online Cenotaph. May she rest in peace. Read more
