| Biographical Notes |
- Only son of Francis and Anne Lucy Robinson, of Pikutuku, Foxton.
- Cousin of Sergeant John Randall St. John Kebbell (11/68), who died of wounds on 30 May 1915, at Gallipoli.
- "Remained at home for four years after leaving School, and was about to start farming on his own account when he enlisted. He met with an accident at Awapuni Camp, which prevented him from leaving with the Main Body, but eventually got away with the 5th [sic] Reinforcements in April, 1915, leaving Egypt for Gallipoli early in August and joining up with the W.M.R. No news was ever heard of him after August 28th, 1915, when he was reported as missing." (In Memoriam, 1914-1918 [Wanganui Collegiate School])
