  • Three of Private Allardice's brothers also served in World War I. They were:
  • 11/679 Trooper Donald Newton Allardice (Main Body) Wellington Mounted Rifles, who served at Gallipoli;
  • 2/2570 Gunner Percy Edwin Allardice (9th Reinforcements) New Zealand Field Artillery
  • 30500 Private Henry Jocelyn Allardice (20th Reinforcements 1st Draft), Wellington Infantry Battalion, killed in action 4 October 1917.
